?

What kind of a world are we living in when one has to think twice before handing the courier guy a glass of water because one is alone at home and will have to open the door to do it? It is 40 degrees outside and all warmth is fled from the world.

A Delhi kind of world?

The kind of world where a cop can rape a helpless girl on the most famous promenade in India. A world where strangers are potential rapists. A world where, forget other relatives, even siblings are potential rapists.

It's the kind of world where men walk free. A democratic and pretty well-raped country. That's the kind of world we are in.

Next time, close the door before you turn to fetch the water.
